Rafferty primarily works in oil and watercolour with a passion for plein air painting. Self taught from a very young age Rafferty feels a constant urge to grow and has had the opportunity to study under great contemporary masters in his field. Rafferty is very influenced by the European and American painters of the 19th and 20th century ever striving to carry on this form of art.
